Since its founding in 1951 as the Women’s Board, the SBMA Ambassadors have played a vital role in advancing SBMA’s mission. On Saturday, April 25, 2026 we celebrate our 75th anniversary with Mid-Century in Motion, our signature fundraising event, at the historic Cabrillo Pavilion.

Guests will be transported to the energy and optimism of the early 1950s, beginning with a display of classic cars at the entrance. Inside, the ballroom will come alive with vintage-inspired cocktails, live music, and swing dancing. Attendees can enjoy retro photo moments, connect with fellow sponsors and art patrons, and savor a buffet of mid-century American favorites. A brief program will celebrate the Ambassadors’ 75-year legacy, with a special tribute to past presidents and recognition of the generous support that continues to carry us forward, making for an unforgettable evening!
